Many people are now open to using mindfulness meditation as way to facilitate the healing process. Mindfulness meditation provides a way for you to work with emotions at a very deep level, paying attention to the “here and now.” Together, we will work to help you become aware of your negative, distorted thoughts such as “I am not worthy,” or “I can’t get anything done right” and learn to acknowledge them, without judgment, with the understanding that these thoughts are not accurate reflections of reality. This will allow you to begin to view your thoughts as less powerful. The experience of “learning to observe your thoughts” ultimately leads to your distorted thoughts having less weight and impact on your emotions and body. This will allow you to make more room for the wonderful benefits of peace, calm and focus in your everyday life.
